Why sign up for the club dues full payment plan? Enjoy the many benefits available to club members on the full-payment plan. A one time fee of only $65 covers all meetings, plus discounts for DB15 special events. This year members received benefits that totaled well over the dues amount. Substantial discounts were provided for the TAP NY beer fest trip, the Newark Bears baseball outing, the NJ Brewers Festival, and the Victorian Dinner. In addition members on the full pay plan are exempt from the individual meeting beer fee which is now $10 per person. Ask any Cask Commissioner for the full details at the next meeting. |

Meeting Notes Sunday, Febuary 10,2019 by Dan Hodge The regular meeting started at 4:20. members present were Dan Hodge, Dan Soboti , DJ Soboti, Vince Capano, Tim Terhune and Livingston Hinckley. Non members present, each paying $10 were Adrian Whipple and TJ Hoy. The meeting was an East Coast vs. West Coast pairing of five styles which were brought out blind. Attendees were asked to rate them on a scale of 1-10. Results were as follows: East listed first Yuengling Golden Pilsner beat Sierra Nevada Nooner Pils 46 to 44 Sixpoint Alpenflo Lager lost to Stone Tropic Thunder 48 to 43 Yards Philadelphia Pale Ale beat Anchor Brewers PA 48 to 25 Forgotten Boardwalk Shor Shiver IPA lost to Mother Earth Boo Boo IPA 59 to 48 Yards Cape of Good Hope DIPA beat Stone Ruination 51 to 39 East won 3 out of 5 and total points of 236 to 215, but west had the highest individual score with 59 for Mother Earth. ( also had the lowest for Anchor with only 25 points. Last year's Final Four will return but all the other beers will be new to the tournament with many not currently available in New Jersey! Bring a friend to enjoy the largest IPA tasting of any beer club in the state. March 10, at the Gaslight, 4 PM Club Dues Now Payable Our fiscal year will change to a “calendar year”. As such, dues for 2019 will only be $50 payable at the next (March) meeting. Starting Jan. 2020 the fee will be the regular $65... TAP-NY Beer Festival - 4/28/19 The 2019 NY TAP trip fee will be $120. Paid members will receive a $35 discount. The package price of 2019 dues and Tap-NY trip will be only $135. Money will be collected at the next meeting. Tap-NY trip includes coffee/bagels before leaving, luxury bus, beer on the bus, festival ticket, all food at the festival.
