Why sign up for the club dues full payment plan? Enjoy the many benefits available to club members on the full-payment plan. A one time fee of only $65 covers all meetings, plus discounts for DB15 special events. This year members received benefits that totaled well over the dues amount. Substantial discounts were provided for the TAP NY beer fest trip, the Newark Bears baseball outing, the NJ Brewers Festival, and the Victorian Dinner. In addition members on the full pay plan are exempt from the individual meeting beer fee which is now $10 per person. Ask any Cask Commissioner for the full details at the next meeting. |

| October Meeting Notes by Livingston Hinckley DB15 Meeting 8 September 2017 This was a BeerShare meeting, our first organized as such. We were joined by the following members and their beers: Bruce Barton, Vince Capano, Glen Deluca, Livingston Hinckley, Chris Johnson, Toshiko Kobayashi, Tom Nooney, Onberi Onami, Leo Porter-Lee, Raffi Majikian, Dan Soboti, Tim Terhune. With great generosity, we were treated to the following amazing lineup, somewhat random to protect the innocent and those less so: Shipyard BBA, dbl scottish ale; HB M4a Braggot (27%); Schlafly Kolsch; Hill Farm Florence; HB C1a Cider; HB 25b Saison; HB M1b Mead, standard; HB M3b Mead, spice, sack (18%); Melvin IPA, Rogue Dead’n’Dead; Flying Monkey Chocolate Manifesto; Kane Malus; Sole Instatrolls; HB 27 Tony&Caroline Gruit; HB 34c Hoppy Hefeweizen; Lagunitas Sakitumi (rice); AHA Rally 20c Kane Stout; Bruery Chronology; Bolero DBL Nickel; Bolero The Herd, Quad; North Coast Old Rasputin Barrel XIX. All were well served, then voting commenced after hours of discussing our bounty. The panel reached the following consensus with 10,9,8 points awarded by each taster for first through third place respectively: 1. Hill Farmstead Florence 85 points 2. North Coast Rasputin XIX 36 3. The Bruery Chronology 30 4. Kane Malus 27 (for detailed spreadsheet go HERE ========== Home Brew Competition. We are in the planning stages for our next home brew contest.
