More Recommended NJ Beer Events / News!. The latest news from the Garden State Craft Brewers Guild Cape May One of CMBC's most-anticipated Double IPAs will soon be available in 16-ounce tallboys! Snag and Drop -- a dank and resinous lupulin-laden beast -- will be available in stores by the end of January. With hints of pine and orange citrus in the background, this alluring Triple IPA is packed to the gills with some of our stickiest and most pungent hops. Snag & Drop is waiting to lure you in and snag you like a trophy fish. Look for it soon! ------------------------- Spellbound Spellbound fresh off a Great American Beer Fest Gold medal win (wood aged category) has released cans of Porter aged on Palo Santo Wood. The cans are available as four packs and cases in the tasting room & select liquor stores. The beer is 6.9% ABV with notes of chocolate, coconut, anise, and roasty malt. They have just installed a new grain silo which will hold upwards of 40000 lbs of grain, save a few pennies and back pain from loading 50lb bags. ------------ Vinyl Crush your New Year’s resolutions At Vinyl Brewing. Having just opened this past fall, we are looking forward to kicking off 2018 by working on exciting new projects like barrel aged sours, stouts and our very first bottle/can release. On Thursday January 18th, we will host a Ladies Night in coordination with a Third Thursday event of the same name, being held in Downtown Hammonton. For an updated tap list and more, check us out at vinylbrewingnj.com ------------------------- Eight & Sand After a very successful 2017 we still have big things in store for the new year at Eight & Sand! Our Long Haul Session IPA and our Brass Pounder English Mild Ale will be canned for the first time, and we have our brand new TSX Russian Imperial Stout on tap in the tasting room. Also join us in congratulating Brewmaster Burke, a new father! Growth all around! ----------------------------- Demented Demented Brewing celebrated the holidays with the release of Wrath four packs. Wrath, their Russian Imperial stout, is part of their seven deadly stouts they brew over the course of the winter. Currently they have both Wrath and Gluttony, their coffee stout on tap, as well as a large selection of IPA’s, lagers, Belgians, and some of their barrel aged beers. The selection is constantly changing, due to the new release every Sunday. Check out their website or Facebook . --------------------- Hoboken Hoboken Brewing Company has launched their brews in draft! Offering two styles also available in cans - the Bodi Blonde is a light crisp ale infused with organic coconut flakes while the Cityside New England style IPA is brewed with loads of Amarillo and Mosaic hops. Hoboken Brewing continues to expand their brand throughout NJ via self-distribution and they are working towards fulfilling their dream of opening a taproom in their flagship city of Hoboken! ----------------------- Bradley Brew Project Things have really picked up at Bradley Brew Project! We are a month into our construction and critical infrastructure updates have been completed. We’ve begun to work through detailed plans for our taproom and rolled out Crowler information. Recently, we’ve received lots of love at our online merchandise store (bradleybrew.com/merchandise) – words can’t describe our appreciation, thank you to all of our supporters! We’re on track for opening in early 2018 – we can’t wait to pour you a beer. Cheers! ----------------------------------------- Tun Tavern Double Dry Hopped Ekuanot IPA | 6.4% abvThis beer is brewed with a simple grain bill of pilsner and flaked oats to let the hop flavors really come through. Hopped heavily in the whirlpool with simcoe and amarillo hops, dry hopped generously during active fermentation with more simcoe, then again, heavily with ekuanot hops. Hopped at a rate of 3 pounds per barrel. This beer pours bright yellow with a nice haze. Less bitter than a traditional IPA with flavors of citrus and tropical fruits. ------------------------- Angry Erik Happy New Year! Angry Erik Brewing is hosting a coat drive through January for new and gently used adult winter coats for the Sussex County Division of Social Services. Donations can be dropped off in the tasting room for $2 off a Growler Fill for each adult winter coat! The New Year means a new beer series, Alpha-Hop City!
