November Meeting Notes
by Dan Hodge

It was announced that the 2017 Victorian Dinner would
have a cost of $95 for non-members with members paying
$50 and allowed to bring one guest for $55.

Meeting commenced at 4:30pm  members present were:
Dan Hodge, Vince Capano, Tom Nooney, Glenn DeLuca,
John Reed, Jeff Levine, Livingston Hinckley, DJ Soboti,
Lynn Lewis, and Nick Moramarco. Non-members were
Bruce Barton, Onageri Onami, Jason Miller, Vince Holmes
and Devon Shelto, each paying the non-members fee of $10.

Meeting was about stouts and was a presentation of various
styles and flavors of stouts with the beers being served in
order from lowest to highest in ABV. The brews were:
1.Guinness Draught Stout (bottle, no widget)  4.3%
2. Sam Adams Cream Stout (bottle) 4.9
3.Lancaster Milk Stout (bottle) 5.3%
4.Young’s Double Chocolate Stout (can)  5.2%
5.Ommegang Lovely, Dark, and Deep Oatmeal Stout
(bottle)  5.3%
6.Narragansett Autocrat Coffee Stout (can)  5.5%
7.Guinness Extra Stout (bottle)  5.6%
8.Dominion Oak Barrel Stout (bottle) 5.5%
9.Victory Black Forest Cake Stout w/cherries (bottle) 7.5%

11.Brooklyn 2017 Black Chocolate Stout (bottle)  10%
12. Livingston Hinckley’s Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout
Clone
2015 (bottle) 11%
The last two were served side by side. Both were very
similar and if there was a definitive agreement as to which
was more popular I didn’t hear it.
