Why sign up for the club dues full payment plan? Enjoy the many benefits available to club members on the full-payment plan. A one time fee of only $65 covers all meetings, plus discounts for DB15 special events. This year members received benefits that totaled well over the dues amount. Substantial discounts were provided for the TAP NY beer fest trip, the Newark Bears baseball outing, the NJ Brewers Festival, and the Victorian Dinner. In addition members on the full pay plan are exempt from the individual meeting beer fee which is now $10 per person. Ask any Cask Commissioner for the full details at the next meeting. |

Meeting - Sept. 13, Sunday 4 PM at the Gaslight Don't miss this rare chance to taste a dozen beers from western New York that "you can't get here". All beers were selected by Dan Hodge and personally transported by him to the Gaslight exclusively for the meeting. Special thanks to Dan for making such a long trip just to acquire the beer! We will be sampling a variety of styles from Hamburg Brewing, Flying Bison, and Ellicottville Brewing. ----- Hamburg Brewing Company - John Russo opened Hamburg Brewing in 2013. They are one of only two official "farm breweries in NY. “Farm breweries” must use, until the end of 2018, at least 20 % t NYS hops and 20 % of all other ingredients in their beer, a number which rises to 60 % starting by 2018. Hamburg now grows their own hops for many of their highly sought after beers. Address: 6553 Boston State Rd, Hamburg, NY 14075 Flying Bison Brewing Company- An award-winning brewer with over 30 years experience, owner Tim Herzog established Flying Bison Brewing Company as a packaging brewery located in the city of Buffalo. It's the first stand alone brewery to operate in the city proper since Iroquois Brewing closed its doors in 1972. Address: 40 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY Ellicottville Brewing Company- Although located in a town best known for winter skiing,this brew pub/brewery has become a destination stop for craft beer drinkers. They have won three International World Beer Championship Awards.Established in 1995, a totally new brewery and restaurant was reopened in the spring of 2013.
