Pliny the Elder is considered one of the best beers in the world.  The real life Pliny
was a Roman naturalist, scholar, historian, traveler, and writer.  He died in 79 C.E.
while observing the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius.  Pliny the Younger was his nephew.

From 1880 to 1963 home brewers in the United Kingdom had to apply for and
purchase a five-shilling license in order to legally pursue their hobby.  
From 1963 on no license is required.

How to make beer infused shampoo:  place one cup of beer into a saucepan and
bring to a boil.  Then simmer until liquid is reduced to half.  Cool then mix with your
favorite store bought shampoo.  The beer will add shine and smoothness to hair.

Got a stuck bolt?  Try pouring some beer over it.  The carbonation and acids will
dissolve the rush after a short while, unsticking the bolt.

Oktoberfest celebrations around the world are often held in September as is the one
in Germany.  One reason is that the weather is better then for outdoor festivals.

How to make a beer boiled brat - 1.  Avoid poking holes in the casing to keep the
juices in;  2.  Lighter beers work better but experiment to find your own favorite;
3. Don't boil your beer.  Keep it at a simmer just below boiling point;
4.  Allow your brats to soak in the hot beer for 20 to 30 minutes

Forget drinking beer from an ice cold glass.  Try a hot one.  Heating beer with sugar
and spices was popular up until the 19th century and was done to improve the taste
of the relatively low quality of many beers available at that time.  A typical recipes
involves adding several tablespoons to a half cup of sugar to a pint of ale along with
a combination of one or more of cinnamon, clove, ginger, allspice, and nutmeg.
