Why sign up for the club dues full payment plan? Enjoy the many benefits available to club members on the full-payment plan. A one time fee of only $50 covers all meetings, plus discounts for DB15 special events. This year members received benefits that totaled well over the dues amount. Substantial discounts were provided for the TAP NY beer fest trip, the Newark Bears baseball outing, the NJ Brewers Festival, and the Victorian Dinner. In addition members on the full pay plan are exempt from the individual meeting beer fee. Ask club treasurer Brian Lynch, or any Cask Commissioner for the full details at the next meeting. |

| Next Meeting August 10 4 PM at the Gaslight The Draught Board 15 August meeting will feature a very special guest speaker in an exclusive beer club presentation! DB15 proudly welcomes Kevin Caruso Brand Development Manager Radeberger Gruppe USA The Radeberger Gruppe is Germany’s largest private brewery group and foremost supporter of the German beer culture. They are widely known for their longstanding commitment to the diversity of regional German beers. The company itself was founded in 1870 and is based in Frankfurt, Germany with subsidiaries in the US and Italy. The Radeberger Gruppe works with 14 brewery locations giving them a truly unique brand portfolio which includes Radeberger Pilsner from Saxony, Frisian Jever from Friesland, Sion Kölsch from Cologne, Schlösser Alt from Düsseldorf, Berliner Kindl from the capital Berlin, Hessian Binding Römer Pils from Frankfurt, Tucher from Franconia, and Altenmünster Brauer Bier from Bavaria, among many other outstanding offerings. All the beers from Radeberger are brewed in accordance with the strict specifications of the German Purity Law of 1516 - the world's oldest foodstuffs regulation - and are exported to over 62 countries. Make plans to be there - 4 PM, Sunday, 8/5/14 only at the Gaslight! ================== A word from Dan Hodge As I write this it's an extremely muggy and uncomfortable day in early August. Therefore, all DB15 members should be elated to know that most liquor stores now have a vast and varied selection of Oktoberfest, "autumn", "harvest" and pumpkin beers available for purchase. These are just the types of brews a discriminating beer connoisseur loves to drink on a day like this. And they won't last so be sure to get some before they're gone. I can't wait for a brisk autumn afternoon to buy some more to drink after raking leaves, but of course by that time the stores' beer shelves will be full of Christmas, winter and "holiday" brews that'll be gone by Christmas to make room for the spring and bock beers that'll be gone by Easter to make room for the summer ales, wit beers and hefeweizens that I could buy today if there weren't so many oktoberfest and pumpkin beers taking up valuable selling space.
