Founders All-Day IPA This is a session IPA at 4.7%. The nose is dominated by tropical fruits with a touch of pine and light bread. Flavor is more restrained than the aroma. Hops up front bring grapefruit in a lemon grass base. A piney bitterness emerges near the finish that is quickly balanced by a malt sweetness. Solid lower ABV brew Overall rating:- Very Good
Maine Peeper Ale This is an American Pale Ale at 5.5% ABV. The beer opens with an aroma of mild, flowery, and fresh hops with some lime in the background. Flavors feature crisp floral notes, crackers, orange, light lemon and easily identifiable grain. The finish is clean with a light bitterness balanced by yeast notes and a delicate sweetness. Refreshing and well made. One of the better brews in the style. Overall Rating - Very Good
Dogfish Head Birra Etrusca A spiced beer at 8.5%, this is another of a seemingly endless steam of unique beers from Dogfish's Ancient Ale series. It pours a dark brown/red body. Very clear with some rising carbonation. Nose of hazelnut flour, pomegranate and caramel. Flavors of honey, fruit, corn, sugar, flour, pears and light coffee. It is what it is and not much else - a take on an ancient recipe. Overall Rating: below average
