Dogfish Head Ta Henket A pale wheat ale, it opens with smells of light straw and wheat with a little bit of lemon. Throughout the taste of exotic spices and chamomile are in the forefront with hints of sweet honey, white and sourdough bread, and floral a characteristics. Leafy and earthy flavors appear and linger in the finish. This was the beer from the Brew Masters "Ancient Ale" episode where Dogfish Head reproduces an ancient Egyptian beer recipe. Fun to try... once. Overall rating:-Average
Lost Abbey Red Barn This is an American style saison (6.7% ABV) from CA. The nose is a mix of ffresh fruits along with hints of earthy tones. Taste brings a delicate blend of pears and apples along with a mild mix of light toasted malt and pilsner grains. By mid taste a mild bitterness and yeast character can be noted. The beer finishes crisp with an aftertaste of malt, fruit, yeast, and only a tiny hint of clove. Overall Rating - Above Average
21st Amendment Bitter American This American session ale packs a lot of hop and malt flavor into a lower-alcohol (4.4%) brew. Piney hops with a hint of citrus jump out in the nose. Taste starts with a hint of sweetness and light bread ampling balancing the citrusy hops. A refreshing bitterness the emerges and moves to the front. A well balanced light IPA or American Pale that makes the grade for those looking for a session brew with some flavor. Overall Rating: Good
