Beamish Irish Stout Smooth and creamy this stout leads with strong overtones of chocolate supported by a soft roasted background . A coffee taste dominates in mid-sip but quickly turns into a somewhat sweet, malty oat finish. This is an excellent stout. Recommended.
Indian Lakes Steam Ale (homebrew by Dave Minsavage) This brew gets off to a rousing start with a welcoming bitterness fueled by a tingling citrus-hop nose. Mid-taste is dominated by a fruity backbone that is nuanced with a malty presence. It has a crisp, robust finish. A well made beer. Recommended.
Budweiser Budvar An aromatic, grassy nose leads to a somewhat sweet, balanced taste in this well rounded beer. Mildly carbonated, it finishes with a light hop-malt aftertaste. Clearly a giant step up from the St. Louis Budweiser but it falls short of to it's great reputation.
