Art's Baker Street Porter

Pours a dark brown with moderate tannish head. Great retention and
perfect lacing. Delightful nose with rich notes of coffee, chocolate and dark
fruits.  First sip brings roasty malts and sweet dark fruits that quickly give
way to a chocolate and coffee character. Hops in the background make this
brew well balanced while  adding a nice crispness to the finish.  

Overall rating: excellent
River Horse Tripel

Deep orange with plenty of haze, thick foam cap with nice
retention. Citrus/coriander spiced nose with a touch of honey.  
Opens with a light sweetness followed by a bready/cookie malt
character thats brings a dryness to the finish. Some spiciness in
mid-taste with light alcohol notes. The carbonation is at first
sharp then settles comfortably.

Overall Rating -   good
Having sampled well over 2,750 different beers in my
capacity as a fully certified taster I can promise
honest, thoughtful, and careful evaluations.  However,
remember that these reviews are totally subjective.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA

Fast fading head leaves ample lacing. Very
fruity and floral aroma. Initially sweet and
malty, then becomes aggressively hoppy.  A
light bitterness pervades the back notes as
a sweet syrup taste begins to dominate.
Noticeable alcohol presence lends a
heaviness to the brew that lingers
in the finish.

Overall ratting -  good.
