Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale Anniversary Ale is an American-style IPA featuring Cascade hops, . The beer has a pronounced pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by a sweet caramel and malt background. This is nicely balanced brew that has an elegance about it. Some may say it's Celebration light, but it stands on it's own as an appealing beer. Overall Rating - good+
Middle Ages Wailing Wench Hops rise up to meet you with notes of grass, pine, citrus, and flowers in this Double IPA. Beneath that, a darkly caramelized and toasty malt resides. This pushed the flavor profile toward malt, with caramel which mask most of the hops. A creamy butter finish hides its 9% ABV content. Interesting, but ultimately disappointing for hop heads. Overall Rating - above average
Straub Beer Straub Brewery in St. Mary's, PA has brewed continuously since 1872. According to the bottle it's "honestly fresh", though it doesn't mention that their additive of choice is cornflakes. A good choice if you enjoy the guilty pleasure of an occassional macro lager. Overall ratting - above average (for standard American macro brew)
