Uinta Crooked Line Birthday Suit 22 This sour plum abbey ale (7.6%) was brewed to celebrate Uinta's 22nd Anniversary. The light nose brings some Belgian funk backed by hints of plums. Taste has notes of honey, tart tangerines, oranges, and plums. Finishes is nicely tart and gently sour with faint dried cherries lingering on the tongue. Overall a very approachable sour especially if you like plums. Overall Rating: Very Good- |
Pipeworks Lizard King This is an American Pale Ale (6.5% ABV) that shouts Mosaic hops throughout. Inviting aromas of floral hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts greets you; first sip features a fruity citrus sweetness perfectly balanced by a lovely piney hops bitterness which then moves to the forefront. The lightly dry finish explodes with juicy lemon lime notes, orange and berry. It's a Mosaic bomb! Overall Rating: Outstanding |
Sixpoint Sensi Harvest Ale This American IPA (6.3% ABV) has an aroma featuring soft pine, floral hops, and earthy grass. The taste is what you'd expect from the beer's Amarillo/Cascade fresh hop combo - grassy and piney flavors upfront backed by floral notes of orange, grapefruit, and lemon. Light to moderate bitterness leads to a crisp finish. Solid, well made brew. Overall Rating: Good+ |
