Aroma of oak, some roasted sugar and sweetish malty.....full bodied in flavor, sweetish with fruits, yeasty, nice malty with a hint of caramel.....finish is short, with some snap..... this is meant to be and it is a solid Abbey Dubbel..... a pleasant and tasty beer.... biscuity aroma with a slight scent of raisins......lightly sweet, malty flavor with a sharper aftertaste. . |
| La Mi Dona A grain-influenced sweet edge that almost brings a bit of apples to the table as well....Aromas of bread, light citrus and a hint of honey....palate was light to medium bodied and crisp.....lavors of bread, light straw, yeast and light citrus with a crisp lightly bitter finish....lightly hoppy (flowers), with a light note of honey...hits of sweetness, nicely balanced finish... Medium body, lively carbonation.....easy-going, very pleasant..... nice malt character. |

Both the aroma and the flavour are strong with fruit and malt...Color is very bright yellow, good white head; aroma is soft malt, flavor is cereal with toasted notes and a good harmony of components....rich and satisfying....complex finish that hints of toast, wheat, and roasted barley...well made brew....satisfying |
| La Tabachéra Some light fruit and pepper notes provide fleeting accents over pale malts.....long, warm, sweetish finish.....medium-plus body.....sweet malty aroma... some Belgian yeast character.....rich, fully mouthfeel.sweetish, dominated by some dark sweet berry fruits, with caramel and even a bit of chocolate. .... alcohol is not felt at all.....very pleasant, long fruity finish......this is the Amarcord of choice for the beer geek. |
