The Tap Room proudly presents
==  N.J. Beer Night ==

With a nod to our own Bruce Springstein, let me say that New Jersey was born to
brew! The brewing industry in our state now provides over 10,000 jobs related
to the production of over 20,000,000 pints of beer a year.  Overall, craft beer
has an economic impact of nearly $1.5 billion in the state.  Even more, as the
number of breweries grows so too does the reputation of NJ beer as being some
of the best in the nation.  NJ beer has garnered medals in countless national
and international competitions including over 25 medals at the premiere judging
event in the country, The Great American Beer Festival.

We are now enjoying a seminal moment in the history of NJ beer as the state
currently has 76 production breweries, 14 brew pubs, and nearly 25 more
waiting to be launched.  If you love beer it just doesn't get any better!

From the array of fine NJ breweries I have asked ten of the very best to send
me two
special kegs each for a one time only event on Thursday, Sept. 28th.
It's their chance to showcase their outstanding craftsmanship, innovative
excellence, and mastery of the brewing arts to the sophisticated craft beer
aficionados here at the Tap Room.  This will be New Jersey beer at its finest!
.

= The New Jersey Breweries=

Conclave
Conclave, which opened in 2015,  is located in Flemington. Owners Carl Alfaro
and Tim Bouton both NJ natives, have a singular goal for their 1,000-sq.foot
brewery - make great beer. A look at their many awards and five star  reviews
(including a 95% on BeerAdvocate) makes it clear they've done that and more!

Brotherton
Located in Shamong, Brotherton Brotherton started out as a dream for five
lifelong friends to someday open a craft brewery.  To the delight of beer lovers
that dream became a reality in 2015 when their 15 barrel brewhouse went into
production.  RateBeer.com gives them 96/100 points while Google Reviews
sings their praises with 5 out of 5 stars.  Try their beers and you'll surely agree.

Three 3's
3 Three's is a small craft brewery in downtown Hammonton NJ. where an
uncompromising passion for making outstanding beer that people will enjoy
drives everything they do. Just over a year old it has already enjoyed wide
ranging acclaim from beer reviewers and craft beer drinkers.
I really enjoy their beer and guarantee you will too!

Flounder
It all started in a kitchen in Morristown  where Jeremy “Flounder” Lees created
his first great home brew..  Next came a larger brewing system located in
Lyndhurst and from there, In 2010, he moved the operation to Hillsborough and
began the Flounder Brewing Co. where he produces some of the state's finest
brews.  Flounder's beers are a particular favorite of Tap Room customers  as
we've had very large crowds turn out for each of his tap takeovers.

Twin Elephant
Twin Elephant Brewing Company in Chatham was founded by three partners
with a passion for brewing craft beers. Owners Scott McLuskey, Tim Besecker
and Cindy DeRama's brews are known for the high quality, often unique
ingredients they use.  I'm extremely proud to be able to bring you two of their
most special beers.  One sip and you'll see why I'm so excited they;re here.

Cricket Hill
Established in 2001 in Fairfield, Cricket Hill is one of the original craft breweries
in New Jersey. They are famous for making a wide variety of flavorful and
balanced beers  which, according to founder Rick Reed, "are the finest on the
planet!"  You'd be hard pressed to disagree with that once you try the two extra
special offerings I was able to secure  for this event. It doesn't get any better!

Forgotten Boardwalk
Jamie Queli started out as a beer enthusiast, moved on to become a home brew
hobbyist, and then fulfilled her dream in becoming the owner of a brewery -
Forgotten Boardwalk in Cherry Hill.  Jamie then hired the highly respected lead
brewer from Sly Fox, David Bronstein, and together they designd and
developed  beers that today are considered some of the best in the state.

Flying Fish
Gene Muller started Flying Fish Brewing Co. in 1995 and eventually moved it to
Somerdale.  It was the first microbrewery in South Jersey and is now the largest
craft brewery in the state.   Flying Fish beers are ten-time medal winners at the
Great American Beer Festival, the most of any New Jersey brewery!

Kane
All of Kane's handcrafted beers are unfiltered, unpasteurized and made locally
in a custom built brew house located in Ocean Township in Monmouth County.
When he started in 2011 founder Michael Kane's goal was to create American-
style and Belgian influenced craft beers that would compete with the very best
in the nation. Kane's many honors and medals, both nationally and
internationally prove he has not only reached, but surpassed his goal.

Carton
Cousins Chris and Augie Carton teamed to form Carton Brewing In Atlantic
Highlands, the seashore community where they were born and raised.  Their
enterprise quickly took the beer world by storm with an array of creative,
innovative, flavorful and truly outstanding  beers.  Carton beers are so highly
regarded that they are among the most prized on the national and international
beer trading circuit. We're very lucky they brew right here in NJ.
