Thanks for reading our
newsletter.  I hope you enjoy
some of the great things we
have planned.  This is the only
place to get the first look at
what's happening at
The Tap Room!
Kevin Torpey
Hard to believe but New Hampshire has
the highest beer consumption per person
in the United State. I guess that serves to
once again confirm the old adage that the
colder the state the more beer it drinks.

New Hampshire citizens of drinking age
enjoyed 43.4 gallons of beer per person
last year, the equivalent of nearly 375
12-ounce cans.   How does our beloved
Garden State compare?   Sad to say but
we averaged only 24.1 gallons per
person.  Perhaps one reason for our
lackluster showing is that it's sometimes
difficult for new breweries to break into
the NJ market.  Well, here at the Tap
Room were going to try to do something
about it on

Thursday June 28
6:30 PM to 9:30 PM
as we present an
Evening of NEW To New Jersey
Craft Beer and Food Tasting!

We will be featuring an array of
breweries who have recently come to NJ
because they believe that  the people of
our state truly do appreciate great craft
beer.  All of you who frequent the Tap
Room have proven that their belief is well
founded.  We are craft beer lovers and
proud of it!

The Tap Room will be pouring the best
from Epic, Lost Abby, Port Brewing,
Mission, Goose Island, Firestone-Walker,
Kona, Pyramid and more!!

EPIC is Utah’s first brewery since
prohibition to produce exclusively high
alcohol content beer. EPIC  took home
six brewing  medals at the recent
Northern Brewers Association's Mountain
Brewers Beer Festival!

From San Diego, CA comes Port Brewing
makers of their own line plus Lost Abby.
Port Brewing has earned a reputation as
one of the most remarkable new craft
breweries in America. The brewery was
named the 2007 Great American Beer
Festival Small Brewery of the Year!

We will also be serving brews from
the Mission Brewery (CA), the winner of
three Gold, three Silver and two Bronze
medals at the GABF since their opening
in an old Wonder Bread plant in 2007.
From Chicago I've secured Goose
Island, winner of over 25 medals in the
last decade at the Great American
Beer Festival and the reigning silver
medalist at the 2012 World Beer Fest.

From California’s central coast comes
the Firestone-Walker Company -
an award winning, world class craft
brewery known for using  traditional
English techniques  that feature a
system of linked barrels to produce
richer and more complex ales.

Kona Brewing Company joins us from
Hawaii.  Among their many award is the
title of Best of the Northwest / Pacific
won at the US Beer Championships!

Rounding out our group is the Great
American Beer Festivals' champion
"Mid-Sized Brewery of the Year"
winner- Pyramid, from Seattle, WA.

Great beer calls for great food - and
we have it! We will be offering a wide
selection of outstanding fare, many of
which will be prepared using the beers
of the evening!  Enjoy items such as
Kobe Beef Sliders, Spicy Bock
Linguine, Fish Taco Station, Buffalo
Wings, Thin Crust Pizza, Fruit/Cheese
Display, and assorted desserts.

And to top things off we will have
music by Tap Room favorite
Cocktail Sauce
