| Sign up a new member, win a beer! The DB15 is the largest beer appreciation organization in New Jersey, but what about the East Coast? Well it's time to make our move. Bring a new member to the next meeting, have them officially register, and get a Gaslight beer compliments of the DB15 Cask Commissioners. |
Why sign up for the club dues full payment plan? Enjoy the many benefits available to club members on the full-payment plan. A one time fee of only $50 covers all meetings, plus discounts for DB15 special events. This year members received benefits that totaled well over the dues amount. Substantial discounts were provided for the TAP NY beer fest trip, the Newark Bears baseball outing, the NJ Brewers Festival, and the Victorian Dinner. In addition members on the full pay plan are exempt from the individual meeting beer fee. Ask club treasurer Brian Lynch, or any Cask Commissioner for the full details at the next meeting. |

BACK-TO-BACK BEER EVENTS! Feb. 20, Saturday - Gaslight Brew Day Join award winning brewer D.J. Soboti as he brews the legendary Eliminator, a honey double Mai-Bock. Doors to the Gaslight will open at 8:30 AM for bagels and coffee; the mash will be in at 9:00 AM. Learn and help with the entire process. This is your one chance to be on the Gaslight brewing team. This truly unique event is certain to be a truly memorable beer experience. Since space in the brew house is limited DJ asks that you call before Saturday if you plan to attend. Boston Beer Company at Feb. 21 Meeting Jim Koch founded The Boston Beer Company because he "believed that Americans deserved better beer". Today, the company has 350 employees who produce the wide range of Samuel Adams® beers many of which can proudly boast of gold medals from competitions around the world. The DB15 is happy to announce that Roxann Diaz from Boston Beer will make a presentation about the company and lead us in a tasting of many of their great brews. Don't miss what promises to be an outstanding. meeting!! ------------------------- Our January meeting was a special treat as we sampled some of the most famous retro beers ever produced. | Gaslight Cask Beers Did you miss the cask conditioned Stone IPA on the hand pump last week? Don't worry there are more great real ales ready for tapping. On Feb. 4 enjoy Swashbuckler Bitter Cask; on Feb. 11 get a pint of Clipper City Peg Leg Cask; on Feb. 18 it's the B.A.M. B.A.M. Bitter Cask; on Feb. 25 the great Stone Levitation Cask will be available. All tappings begin at 7 PM. Be sure to check the chalkboard for all the great Gaslight beers and unique guest taps. |
