Home Brew Shown Down Winners
The November meeting featured a battle of some of the best
home brewers in the state striving for gold, silver, and bronze
medals in the Oktoberfest category. Each brewer used the
same ingredients making this a true test of the brewer's skill.
Everyone attending the meeting was able to sample and rate
each of the entries. When the points were totaled the results
proved to be the closest in the history of the DB15 Challenge.
The gold medal was won by Chris Johnson, silver was
awarded to Pat Ford, and the bronze went to Dan Hodge.
Congratulations to these great home brewers!
Run, don't walk, to the Gaslight to enjoy the limited release of
the incredible Big Dog Organic Pumpkin Ale, and "777" - the
Gaslight's tribute to Belgium. At 9.4% ABV it's one tasty
powerhouse. Also on tap are the award winning Pinhead Pils
and Gaslight 's great Prince of Darkness.
Be sure to check the chalkboard for all the great
Gaslight beers and unique guest taps.
