|Next Meeting - November 11, at the Gaslight, 3 PM
Don't forget that our next home brew contest will be held at the January meeting.
The style will be an imperial stout. As in the past, all brewers must use the same
recipe thus making this a true test of the brewer's art. Dan has all needed supplies,
grain or extract, at U-Brew. First time and experienced home brewers are
encouraged to participate in this fun event.
Need brewing advice? Dan can help every step of the way. You can also read
Beginning Brewing Tips by Captain Mike Orloski right here on BeerNexus.
Victorian Dinner is scheduled for Dec. 12.
Plan ahead to attend the biggest event of the year!

Rumor has it that Gaslight's
award winning brewer, DJ Soboti,
is soon to release his first ever wet hopped brew.
Think it might be an ESB? Don't miss it!!
NOTE--Prince of Darkness now pouring!!
October Meeting Scores!
Did you miss our October meeting? Hopefully not since the DB15
members were treated to a tutored tasting of several outstanding
beers courtesy of special guest speaker Ken Kerdock the Northeast
Regional Sales Manager
Elite Brands USA. Ken poured samples of Lion Stout and a
selection of German brews from Brewery Michael Plank
In addition to leading a tutored tasting, Ken will showed a rare video
of the late Michael Jackson visiting the Lion Brewery.
This was the only pub presentation of this unique film
on the entire East Coast! Special thanks to Ken for joining us and to
our own Jeff Levine for arranging the event.
3 pm, AT THE GASLIGHT
Be there for our first ever tasting of IMPERIAL STOUTS!
Join us for sampling from one of the best collections of
Imperial Stouts ever assembled by any beer club!
Old Rasputin, Yeti Oak Barrel Aged, Old Heathen,
Fat Dog, Storm King, and Samuel Smith's
And there just might be a few extra surprises!

|Could that be the famed founder
of Anchor Brewing, Fritz Maytag,
on the right? Is that our own club
treasurer, Brian Lynch, tasting
the new Anchor offering? Find
out at our next meeting!
