The DB15 is the largest beer appreciation organization in New
Jersey, but what about the East Coast? Well it's time to make
our move. Bring a new member to the next meeting, have them
officially register, and get a Gaslight beer compliments of the
DB15 Cask Commissioners.
Why sign up for the club dues full payment plan?
Enjoy the many benefits available to club members on the
full-payment plan. A one time fee of only $65 covers all meetings,

This year members received benefits that totaled well over the dues
amount. Substantial discounts were provided for the TAP NY
beer fest trip, the Newark Bears baseball outing, the NJ Brewers
Festival, and the Victorian Dinner. In addition members on the full
pay plan are exempt from the individual meeting beer fee which is
now $10 per person.
Ask any Cask Commissioner

|Special Guest Speaker
at the January 8 Meeting
The Draught Board 15 is proud to announce that we have
confirmed a very special guest speaker for our first
meeting of the new year on Jan. 8 at 4 PM.
Empire Brewing Company, est. 1994, is an award-winning
brewer of handcrafted ales and lagers located in the heart of
downtown Syracuse. They pride themselves on using the
finest all-natural ingredients available. In 2016 as their
success continued they expanded by adding the Empire
Farm Brewery which is the largest farm brewery on the
East Coast. Over 22 acres were developed for educational
and beer production purposes including a state of
the art 60 bbl automated brewhouse,
The farm is located in Cazenovia, NY, and grows hops,
lavender, vegetables, herbs, and fruits for use in the brewing
process and to support the needs of Empire’s Syracuse
brewpub. To be licensed under the farm brewery law in
accordance with the NY Department of Agriculture beer
must be made with primarily NYS ingredients. The current
requirement to meet these provisions are 20% hops and
20% all other ingredients must be grown in state. That
will increase yearly until in 2024 when 90% hops and 90%
of all other ingredients need to be grown in state.
Empire has won three consecutive Great American
Beer Fest gold medals in addition to a World Beer Cup
gold.. They also have been selected to be the only
"I Love NY" campaign beer available in China.
This will easily be the best meeting of the year.
Jan. 8, Sunday, 4 PM at the Gaslight
Start off 2017 the right way - enjoy a tasting of Empire's
award winning beers. This is not to be missed!
Members - don't forget to pick up your free DB15 half
