The DB15 is the largest beer appreciation organization in New
Jersey, but what about the East Coast? Well it's time to make
our move. Bring a new member to the next meeting, have them
officially register, and get a Gaslight beer compliments of the
DB15 Cask Commissioners.
Why sign up for the club dues full payment plan?
Enjoy the many benefits available to club members on the
full-payment plan. A one time fee of only $65 covers all meetings,
plus discounts for DB15 special events.
This year members received benefits that totaled well over the dues
amount. Substantial discounts were provided for the TAP NY
beer fest trip, the Newark Bears baseball outing, the NJ Brewers
Festival, and the Victorian Dinner. In addition members on the full
pay plan are exempt from the individual meeting beer fee which is
now $10 per person.
Ask any Cask Commissioner

Firestone - Walker Regional Sale Manager
At our Nov. 8 meeting, 4 PM
The Draught Board 15 is proud to welcome
Mr. Garrett Brown
Regional Sales Manager for the renown brewery
Firestone-Walker to our November 8 meeting. Mr. Brown
brings an intimate knowledge of this great brewery and of
beer in general. He is not only a Certified Cicerone but also
a Master of Beer Styles and Evaluations from the Siebel
Institute of Technology.
Don't miss this one time only chance to meet Garrett and
enjoy some of the great beers from the Firestone portfolio.
Firestone Walker Brewing Company is located in Paso
Robles and Buellton, California. The company utilizes a
patented variation of the Burton Union system developed in
England in the 1800s in its oak barrel fermentation process.
There are only two breweries in the world using a
commercial size version of the system.
Firestone-Walker has won the title of World Beer Cup
Champion Brewery for mid-sized breweries in
2004, 2006, 2010, and 2012 plus they are a three time
winner of the same title at the GABF.
This year they were named
2015 Mid-Sized Brewery of the Year
at the Great American Beer Fest.
And individual medals were won by 4 Firestone beers!
The brewery was founded in 1996 by Adam Firestone
(aka the Bear) & David Walker (aka the Lion). It began as
a small brewery with roots in wine country on California’s
Central Coast. Now as then their singular purpose remains –
"to craft ever better beer. Passionately in pursuit of the
perfect beer…and never satisfied."
Members - don't forget to pick up your free DB15 half liter
stein at the meetings. Steins are also available for purchase.
