by Dan Hodge
Meeting commenced at approximately 4:20 pm and was
supposed to a presentation of beers offered by an unnamed
distributor (Billy Morrissey from Belukus Marketing) who
bailed out at the last minute due to an upset stomach, or so
he said. In retribution some members suggested we avoid
buying any of his portfolio including Kostritzer Schwartzbier,
a keg of which was tapped at the Gaslight in honor of his
anticipated presence. The proposal was tabled.
Members attending were: Chris Johnson, Livingston Hinckley,
Doug Vohden, Mark Ferguson, Brandon Einhorn,
Glenn DeLuca, Tom Nooney, Faith Franziano, Dan Soboti,
DJ Soboti, Vince Capano, Dan Hodge, Brian Lynch,
Jeff Levine, and Justin Jackson.
Non member present was Patrick Shipman
Even without the scheduled speaker or an agenda the meeting
was a great hit as we had an impromptu sampling of various
beers brought by members and beers that were discovered in
the depths of Gaslight’s renowned beer cellar.

2. Weyerbacher Last Chance IPA (Easton, Pa) 5.9%
3. Hooker Octoberfest (Bloomfield, Ct.)
4. Erie Mad Anthony Pale Ale (Erie, Pa.)
5. Bernard Pilsner (Czech Republic) 5%
6.Natty Greene’s Southern Pale Ale (Greensboro, SC)
5.2% Special note: this beer was provided by Bret Rowel of
Lovell, Wyoming and was bought in North Carolina and
donated to DB15 by way of Livingston Hinckley
7. Sam Adams Infinium (Boston, Mass) 10.3%
8. Harpoon Catamount Maple Wheat (Boston, Mass) 6.8%
9. Harpoon Island Creek Oyster Stout (Boston, Mass) 5.5%
10. Westbrook Brewing Gose (Mt. Pleasant, SC) 4% Special
note: Any home brewer actually liking this stuff can quickly and
easily clone this beer at home. Merely wring out soiled diapers
into a pint glass, chill and enjoy!

Gaslight IPA provided by the club at a time I don’t exactly
remember. Only goes to show why this is a great club!
