St. Paddy's Drink Bomb

Try this one to celebrate St. Paddy's Day, just be
sure you have a designated ddriver - it's not for
the faint of hear or stomach:  take off of the
Inception Bomb.  You start off with a "Baby
Guinness", made with Patron Tequila topped
with Irish cream. It drops into the second shot
-an "Irish breakfast", made with 2 Gingers Irish
Whiskey and butterscotch liqueur, which drops
into orange juice and then drops into the third
shot - a "Car Bomb", made with 2 Gingers Irish
Whiskey with Irish cream, dropped into a pitcher
of Guinness. Of course a serious beer guy would
likely say what a waste of good Guinness!

Ice Cap Beer

Coors famously uses Rocky Mountain water for
their beer, but the Greenland Ice Cap brewery
produces a number of different styles using
water from one of the ice caps. The ice used in
the beer is somewhere between "2000 and
180000" years old, which would make for the
most epic Born On dating ever: 13 A.D.
La Brasserie Fischer matched that years ago
when it made beer using water from ice blocks
that could be up to 250,000 years old acquired
during an expedition into Greenland
You don't say.....

CVertex Pharmaceuticals (Boston), is famous for their
“beer hour,” every Friday when they offer free adult
beverages (including craft beer) and munchies to its
1,300 Boston employees.  Sorry, no job openings
Pancakes make the ideal conduit for beer, as there are
no other strong flavours to contend with. The short
cooking time also means that most of the integrity
of flavors stay intact.
Breweries can ship 100 cases of canned beer
per pallet, compared to 60 cases of bottles.
Russian River’s brewmaster Vinnie Cilurzo is often
credited with the invention of the Double IPA style.  His
most famous beer is, of course, Pliny The Younger.
Joe Hackel, a Denver scientist/aeropace engineer, has come
up with Pop and Stop--a 3D printed, silicone combination
bottle opener and stopper. The beer topper is made from
sturdy silicone that creates the secure seal.

Eighty years ago, the American Can Co., was the first beer
maker to put beer in a can—and it was an immediate and
overwhelming success.  Today, there are 1,854 beers
available in cans, encompassing 96 styles.
Ya gotta love these guys
Jimmy Breslin
“Don't trust a brilliant idea unless it
survives the hangover.”

John Huston
“The first thing in the human personality that
dissolves when drinking too much beer is dignity.”

Raymond Chandler
“I think a man ought to get drunk at least twice
a year just on principle (and beer) , so he
won't let himself get snotty about it”
Thomas deQuincy
"It is most absurdly said, in popular language, of
any man, that he is disguised in liquor; for, on the
contrary, most men are disguised by sobriety.”

Robert A. Heinlein
“Be wary of strong drink, it can make you shoot
at the tax collector...and miss.”

Horace Hutchinson
“We borrowed golf from Scotland as we
borrowed whiskey. Not because it is Scottish,
but because it is good.”
