Sixpoint Cosmic Handshake

This is a colab with Victory brewing.  It/s an 8% Sour IPA.  It opens
with a light catty aroma followed by hop oil pickle brine, and lime.
Taste features lemon, orange lime, dull citrus, and a hint of
mango.. Not very sour or hoppy.  The  flavors just miss working--
disappointing considering the quality of the breweries.

Kane Nightmare At Sea

This is a 12%ABV Imperial Stout. It pours black with a welcoming
tan head.  Aromas are roasted malt, roasted hickory, and a hint of
honey. Flavors are cocoa powder, coffee, toasted malt and fresh
barley. Hints of sweet wood and grass in the background.  A bit
"hot" in that the alcohol is noticeable.  Little impact form the
whiskey barrel aging with medium mouth feel.  Well made.

Overall Rating: Good-
