From Bottles to Growlers- beer reviews by SANDY FELD, certified taster
Allagash Coolship Red

This is a GBelgium Fruit Lambic at 5.7% ABV. You are greeted by
aromas of ripe raspberry, oak  wheat, vanilla, apricot, and hints of
red wine.  Taste follows the nose with a moderate tartness offset
by a fruity sweetness, light funk, toasted malt, and wood.  Delicate
and very well made.  If you like the style you will like this.

Overall Rating: Very Good+
Oskar Blues Can-O-Bliss

This is al 7.2% "hazy" IPA from the craft can innovators. It opens
with smells of pineapple, grass and slight citrus and malt. Taste is
a touch sweet with a moderating bitterness. Taste leans to malts
over caramel, pineapple, nectarine, and tangerine notes.  Smooth
and well made but many better examples of the style in the market.

Overall Rating: Good
