From Bottles to Growlers- beer reviews by SANDY FELD, certified taster
Jack's Abby Post Shift Pilsner

This is a German Pilsner at 4.8% ABV. You are greeted by aromas
of cereal malt, toasted bread, and grass, light yeast, and noble
hops. Taste brings grains, crackers, lemon zest, grass, spicy hops
and a touch of honey. Finish is crisp, and semi dry finish with a
hint of bitterness.  Solid effort from a solid brewery.

Overall Rating: Above Average-
Toppling Goliath Scorpius Morchella

This is a spring seasonal 7.8% New England IPA.  It opens with
smells of smells of lemon, lime, pineapple, grass, and floral hops.
Taste brings big pineapple with notes of mango, guava, green
melon, sweet tropical fruits, and pine.  Light resinous bitterness
throughout with fresh hop presence in the finish. Well made
though pineapple comes close to being too dominate.

Overall Rating: Outstanding -
