From Bottles to Growlers- beer reviews by SANDY FELD, certified taster
Heavy Seas Winter Storm

This is an 7.5% Extra Special Bitter (ESB). Aromas bring notes of
piney, earthy hops on a deeply saturated backbone of amber
malts.  Taste brings toasted wheat bread, honey, orange
marmalade, caramel and spice with light to moderate hop bite
which lingers. The finish is lightly sweet. A solid beer.

Overall Rating: Good -
Southern Tier Paradox of the Powerful

This is an 8.5% American Imperial IPA that showcases Citra/Simcoe
Hop Dust, and Whole Flower Mosaic hops.  It opens with a massive
hop aroma with notes of  juicy oranges, peppercorns, grapefruit,
pine, and crackers.  Taste brings more of the same along with
flavors of s apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon and lightly sweet
papaya.  The alcohol is nicely hidden.  Juicy and vibrant throughout.

Overall Rating: Very Good +

Lord Hobo Angelica

This is a 5.5% ABV American Pale Wheat Ale
that is quite like a hazy saison. Nose brings
tangerine, pineapple, and passion fruit.
First sip is tangy and rather acidic followed
notes of citrus hops, lightly bitter wheat,
oranges and tropical fruit. Finish is
dominated by oranges with a sweet malty
undertone. An interesting beer.

Overall Rating: Above Average
