From Bottles to Growlers- beer reviews by SANDY FELD, certified taster
Oskar Blues Priscilla Wit

This is a typical American version of a typical Belgium wit.  At 5.2%
ABV it opens with smells of clove, grain, spices, wheat, and a bit of
citrus.  Expect flavors of bread, orange, lemon and banana.  Hops
are hard to find.  Finish brings yeast, cloves, and light spice.
A solid if unengaging version of the style.

Overall Rating: average+
Magic Hat Dream Machine IPL

This is an India Pale Lager with a 5.7% ABV.  Aromas feature clean
pine scents with hints of caramel and malt.  First sip brings a
bracing hop presence followed by citrus, bread, yeast notes.   The
dry finish leans to a light bitterness mixed with a nicely balanced
hop - malt mix. Overall this IPL leans to the hop side which makes
for a refreshing drink albeit with a somewhat thin mouthfeel.

Overall Rating: good+

Third Rock The Rock IPA

This is one of the better offerings from the
Third Rock Brewery in North Carolina.  It
opens with a nose of fresh hops, citrus
fruits, pineapple, and light malt.  Taste
brings mango, peach, grapefruit and tropical
fruits.  Finish is nicely brisk and clean.
Overall a well make IPA (6.6% ABV) that is
both interesting and refreshing.

Overall Rating: Very Good-
