From Bottles to Growlers- beer reviews by SANDY FELD, certified taster
Uinta Crooked Line Birthday Suit 22

This sour plum abbey ale (7.6%) was brewed to celebrate Uinta's
22nd Anniversary.  The light nose brings some Belgian funk
backed by hints of plums. Taste has notes of honey, tart
tangerines, oranges, and plums. Finishes is nicely tart and gently
sour with faint dried cherries lingering on the tongue.  Overall a
very approachable sour especially if you like plums.

Overall Rating: Very Good-
Pipeworks Lizard King

This is an American Pale Ale (6.5% ABV) that shouts Mosaic hops
throughout.  Inviting aromas of  floral hops, fruity citrus and
caramelized malts greets you; first sip features a fruity citrus
sweetness perfectly balanced by a lovely piney hops bitterness
which then moves to the forefront.  The lightly dry finish explodes
with juicy lemon lime notes, orange and berry.  It's a Mosaic bomb!

Overall Rating: Outstanding

Sixpoint Sensi Harvest Ale

This American IPA (6.3% ABV) has an aroma
featuring soft pine, floral hops, and earthy
grass.  The taste is what you'd expect from
the beer's Amarillo/Cascade fresh hop
combo -  grassy and piney flavors upfront
backed by floral notes of orange, grapefruit,
and lemon. Light to moderate bitterness
leads to a crisp finish.  Solid, well made brew.

Overall Rating: Good+
