Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse

This bottle conditioned brew begins with sharp clove and wheat
flavors that quickly meld into a smooth, nutmeg character in a
sea of spice. Clove returns in the finish bringing a ester filled
snap.  If you don't like ester dominated flavors stay away; for
those that do this is a solid choice.

Overall Rating - good.
Sierra Nevada Summerfest

Fresh, fruity, and zesty, this beer is an acceptable choice as a
summer thirst quencher.  It's pungent hop character is
enhanced by a citrus fruitiness throughout along with an
unmistakable yeast background.

Overall Rating - Above Average
Having sampled well over 2,500 different beers in my
capacity as a fully certified taster I can promise
honest, thoughtful, and careful evaluations.  However,
remember that these reviews are totally subjective.

Penn Weizen

Clove dominates this somewhat tart,
highly carbonated brew.  Hints of
honey support the flavor profile at
mid sip but are overcome by cloves
in short order.  A yeasty sharpness
allows for a crisp finish.
